Dyno Graph Pipe Kit
The dyno chart below lists stock HP in RED, CT Sonic pipe kit in BLUE.
The CT sonic pipe kit consists of the complete exhaust system along with a CT complete jet kit and 7 disc spark arrestor system. 7 discs produces the maximum HP on a stock 400 with the lid off of the air box. Removing the discs and going to an open end cap or adding more discs to a stock motor will lose peak HP. This system produces a very quite 95dB. The lid can be run on the 400 but will result in loss of HP. The CT pipe is tuneable, as you add HP to the motor with performance parts you can add discs to achieve maximum HP.

This Dyno chart is our 453 on race gas with a 12/1 comp. piston kit. The only part that was used on our quad that is not included in our kit, is a Dyna Programmable ignition. . We have them available, and program them to our specs for you. If you already have the Dyna programmable ignition we will program it for you with the kit.

After having the teams CT Racing 250R stolen early in the race season, the team, with the help of Temecula Motorsports, decided to put together a brand new Kawasaki KFX440 for the rest of the race season. This KFX was so clean it would be hard to believe that they were going to put an incredibly rough and rocky 260 miles on it the next day. So Just how did Kevin Avina put together a KFX 440 that would win the race on it's first outing? Start by turning the 400 into a 440 and equipping it with a CT piston, WebCams camshaft with CT grind, Hinson clutch basket, CT clutch kit, CT sonic pipe and header, Dynatek programmable ignition with special CT curve, Pro Design filter setup, K&N Filter, and Edelbrock carburetor. This 440 is said to produce nearly 52 HP on the Dyno. Keeping all that horsepower lubricated is Maxima oils and it is fed by 76 Race Gas.
With the power taken care of new ARSFX +3 long travel a-arms and +1 swingarm were added with Custom Axis shocks to do the dampening. The soft stock axle was replaced with a RPM Dominator rear axle. Baldwin front hubs are used with Braking rotors and pads. The sprockets are Sunstar and then topped off with a Tsubkai chain. Honda tie rod ends are used to replace the smaller Kawasaki stock ones. The plastic is brand new Maier with a new blazing Orange color that looked awesome. Performance Carbon Products supplied the trick looking silver Carbon Fiber nose piece and radiator shrouds. From IMS comes their new KFX desert tank with dry break and their kick-up Pro Pegs to keep Jimmy and Greg on the bike. The stock clutch perch was replaced with a Works Connection model and new from Works Connection is their frame guards. Golden West Cycle built the +1 steering stem and then it was topped off with Universal bars and a GPR steering stabilizer.
To put all this power to the ground and make sure they get to the finish line, the Temucula Motorsports team uses Maxxis RAZR tires on Douglas Ultimate wheels . This is one MEAN Kawasaki machine that is sure to make it's competitors EAT DIRT. |
