CT RACING HAS UNLEASHED THE BEAST
CT Racing has uncorked the power that is available with the awesome 450F motor. You can see from our dyno chart posted below that we have considerably more HP at every RPM Split, as compared to stock. The Sonic pipe is not a top end pipe we really go after bottom and mid. What we have found through our R&D process is that we still end up with more peak HP that our competitors pipes, and the highest Horse Power producing pipes on the market. This has been proven in three different Dirt Wheels Magazine pipe shootouts. Our kit is plug and play, complete with jetting and tips for air temp and altitude correction. We highly recommend the addition of the Pro Design Prow flow filter system for maximum performance.
The CT sonic pipe kit consists of the complete exhaust system along with a CT complete jet kit with a Titanium needle and 16 disc spark arrestor system. 16 discs produces the maximum HP on a stock 450 with the lid off of the air box. Removing the discs and going to an open end cap or adding more discs to a stock motor will lose peak HP. The lid can be run on the 450 but will result in loss of HP. The CT pipe is tuneable, as you add HP to the motor with performance parts you can add discs to achieve maximum HP.
Noise The disc type spark arrestor system allows you to tune the noise level. Our system tuned for peak HP running all 16 discs puts out a throaty sounding 101dB. This is not acceptable for many riding areas. With the disc type system you can simply remove discs to get to the range you need. At 6 discs you would be in the 93dB range. You will lose some HP as you cut the noise. Our pipe will still make the most power at any dB as compared with any other aftermarket pipe at the same dB level.
