CT Racing has finished the development of the 700 Raptor pipe. Contrary to popular belief the fuel injection system does not re-calibrate itself for adding an exhaust system, or for any other motor modification. The stock fuel injection system only re-calibrates for air density change. Our pipe kit makes the 700 go very lean with the stock settings, as any good pipe will do. Once fuel management is addressed we are picking up over 10 HP. Take a look at the whopping 21 HP increase we have at 9000RPM. The fuel management system does allow for tuning, if you do some mods down the road such as adding a high compression piston and cam.
The kit is shipped with 10 discs as we have found this to make the most HP. With 10 discs we are producing a stealthy 98db's of sound. That can be easily reduced farther by removing a couple of discs. We do offer an open turn down end cap for short course racing. The disc system is a U.S. Forestry approved Spark Arrestor
This Dyno graph shows the Raptor 700 with the stock pipe in blue and the CT Sonic pipe with a fuel management system and the stock air filter with no lid on the air box in Red. We should get over 50 HP with a K&N filter kit.

700 Sonic High Output Kit................$1,145.00
We have just finished the R&D program for our Sonic 700 kit. We have been tuning and setting them up as we would one of our Baja Race quads, for good power and durability. We have been posting well over 60 HP on the Dyno running this set up. We can attain more HP but durability will suffer if we shove, more cam, and valve size to it , to bump up the HP.. An over 60 HP motor with the high torque numbers (50 ft. lbs) of the Raptor is seriously fast and a blast to ride with lots of bottom. The kit is offered as a motor only package we recommend the Sonic Pipe, a fuel management program is required, we have had great success with the Dynatek F.I. Controller or the Dynojet Power Commander 3. The Dobeck Gen 3 will work, but the Dobeck Gen 2 will not.
Kit includes Honing your cylinder to Extract Maximum Performance and fitment of a JE Performance 12.5/1 or 11/1 Piston Kit, CT Porting your head, Web Sonic Grind Camshaft, Sonic 5 angle contoured Valve Job, Sonic Valve Spring kit, Top End Gasket set. Your cam is required as a core, just ship us your head, cylinder and cam to receive this package. 11/1 piston is best for 91 octane pump gas and the 12.5/1 requires 100 octane. This can be attained by mixing 108-112 race gas with 91 octane pump gas.
