This is a custom grind cam with a longer duration for more rev than anything you will find directly from Web.

CT head porting with short guides and a radius Race valve job. CT Flow ports the head for maximum performance. Short valve guides are installed as the stock guides are excessively long and hinder flow/performance. CT then does a performance 5 angle radius valve job to ensure maximum horsepower, blending the valve job to the port work.

Carburetion

This is the best carb you can buy for the Raptor 250. It does come off the bottom a little better than the Mikuni as it has an accelerator pump. It also produces just over 1 peak horsepower more. Kit includes a thumb throttle cable. The cable to the thumb throttle is much cleaner, as it aims forward. The only reason not to buy this carb is the expense.

This carb is for high horsepower Raptor 250s. Kit includes a thumb throttle cable and 4 main jets. This is the carb we used for the Dirt Wheels Magazine build.

Axles

This axle is a recreational level axle that is twice the strength of the stock axle. It's a cost effective choice when reliability is a prime concern.

The Eliminator axle used for all forms of racing and high performance applications. Many of the models come with the patented Posi•Lock system which removes threaded sections from the flexing area of the shaft (a source of crack generation).

The X-33 axle uses the same superior material and heat treating as the Eliminator. The unique difference is in the design of the wheel hub mounting area. Standard design ATV axles neck down to about 1" in diameter. A splined wheel hub slides onto the axle shaft and is retained with a hex nut. As all ATVer's know, hubs loosen frequently. The X-33 changes all that. The wheel hub is clamped solid and driven by a pin on a 1-3/8" diameter shaft. This axle is rifled to reduce weight near the rotational axis of the ATV. The X-33 allows for 16 different wheel offset alternatives.
