CT Hi-Output 686 kit

Kit includes: CT Head Porting, cleaning head, Assembly and Disassembly of valves from head, 5 angle radius valve job, Grind valves, Bore Cylinder fitting with an 11/1 (for pump gas) or 12:1 racing piston, Web Sonic Grind High Performance Camshaft, Valve Spring kit with Titanium retainers, Top End Gasket Set and Valve Stem Seals.  We strongly recommend the use of the CT Sonic pipe kit to gain the full potential of this kit.

This is a very solid reliable well developed package. Choose 1/1 if you want to run pump gas. If you are willing to run 100 octane or 50/50 pump gas race gas, go with 12/1 it gives you more bark off of the bottom. This kit puts you solidly in the 60 HP range.

                                             Pipe Kit

CT Racing Has been working very hard on the Yamaha Raptor. We're proud to announce our exhaust system has the largest Horse Power increase we've ever seen from bolt on kits. This kit consists of our CT Pipe and Disc type spark arrestor, Pro Design Pro Flow air filter kit and jet set.  We picked up a minimum of 7 HP at 3000 RPM and 32 HP at 8500. This is a must have kit for the Raptor. Stock HP is just over 33 HP and were hitting almost 50 with this kit. We did our testing on a California model. The end result is the same 49 state models have slightly more HP stock (rumored to be around 37). 

Noise The disc type spark arrestor system allows you to tune the noise level. Our system tuned for peak HP running all 16 discs puts out a throaty sounding 102 dB. This is not acceptable for many riding areas. With the disc type system you can simply remove discs to get to the range you need. At 6 discs you would be in the 93dB range. You will lose some HP as you cut the noise. Our pipe will still make the most power at any dB as compared with any other aftermarket pipe at the same dB level.

   Note: We no longer supply the turn down tip with the pipe as it makes less HP than using the 16 disc system. You can buy the turn down tip separate for $39.95.

We now have the Yukon gear sets available for the 660 Raptor. We offer them for the 01, this kit includes the Yamaha Main shaft and Yamaha first gear along with 7 Yukon gears. this is a must do upgrade for the 01. It gives you the better gear spacing of the 01-06 along with the upgraded durability of the Yukon gears. We also offer the 02-06 Yukon gears, that includes the 7 tuff Yukon gears.
