Text Box: CT Z50 Pipe Installation Instructions
Text Box: 1 Disconnect battery.
 Remove plastic from bike.
Remove stock pipe and gasket from cylinder.
If  installing K&N filter must remove stock air box and crank case vent hose.
Remove carb and install the #75 main jet and the #22.5 pilot jet. These specs are for 75 degrees at sea level. As a rule of thumb, lean one jet size for every 2000 feet of elevation. Richen the jetting for every 20 degrees colder in air temp. If you have installed our clutch kit we find the 77.5 jet works best at sea level.
Install K&N filter and new crank case vent hose. Make sure you run the vent hose away from the pipe, and up as high as possible before it loops down. It does not. Route the vent hose up as high as possible, then loop it down.
Install CT pipe (DO NOT put any silicone where pipe meets together). The CT pipe does not use a exhaust gasket in the cylinder.
Reinstall the plastic on the bike.
If installing a new Dyna Tek CDI box must have battery disconnected.
Reconnect the battery and now your ready to go ride. If you have a dead battery and have the CDI box, the motor will do little more than  run. The CDI box draws power, but the battery charging draws too much power to let it run properly. Simply disconnect the battery and pull start the motor and it will run perfectly. Charge your battery or replace it.
